hi there, i’m alex!

welcome to my passion project – a space that highlights travels, books, lifestyle content and a little bit of everything in between. it’s here & elsewhere.

this corner of the internet has evolved over the years to highlight my love of travel but also my adoration of reading & the written word.

we all collect things when we travel: postcards, t-shirts, baseball caps magnets. souvenirs of a moment in time. my blog is a digital keepsake of my most treasured memories, and i hope it can be a resource as you look to travel the world or pick up a book. 

five quick facts about me:

• romances, fantasies, literary & historical fiction and biographies mainly fill my shelves.  

• i’m a bit of a weekend warrior — rarely staying put and always on the go.

• big believer in the power of positive thinking!

• proud west virginia university alum who will cheer on the mountaineers any given saturday until my lungs give out (and yell at the tv when they make bonehead plays).

• i married my husband (still so weird saying that!) in december 2025 & it is honest to god the best thing i’ve ever done.

this is my creative outlet & i’m excited you’ve chosen to follow along. no hard sell here, i just hope it’s a chance encounter with something wonderful.
